Stress reducing general rant thread

We all have it sometimes. We are confronted with something we find very frustrating and we want to get it off our chest. Well, you can use this thread. No need to go into details just use the following format:

[RANT]
BIAL International Airport immigration (or rather emigration)
The Shared Oberoi First Class Lounge
[/RANT]

Most frequent flyers will understand what you mean anyway. It helps.

PS:

[RANT]
Henkybaby
Frequent Posters
[/RANT]

is expected and not very original.

Ok i go first

[RANT]

I realise that BA ops sometimes must change seat allocations. Fine with me. But why must I find this out when accessing MMB, why not send an e-mail: "dear lobengula, we have changed your seats. Please access MMB and make any further adjustments if necessary.

Company booked me on Emirates instead of BA as I requested.

Ended up smack bang in the dreaded Y-middles on a 7-hour flight that was delayed +2 hours.

Found out later some people from my crew did get to fly BA.

[whinge mode]People with roll-ons who amble through T5, four abreast, looking at stuff they have no intention of buying and smelling of 'Tommy'. Its a convoluted walk to the lounge already. Don't the obliviots know the most dangerous place in the terminal is between me and a glass of red wine. [\whinge mode]

That's better, thanks Dr Henky. May I have a pop at lollypop ladies now?

I knew there'd be some fun with that one.

But T5 is cramped. Except for the CCR of course

Large areas of my garden are being over-run with wild garlic
[/RANT]

No, that didn't seem to help at all

Oh, well, the sun's shining, and all sorts of Spring bulbs are coming into flower. The freesias are particularly good this year
BA or bust likes this.

I like eating it - chucked a chopped pile of it into a fried rice yesterday!
It also looks lovely mixed in with the bluebells at the top of the garden.
It is less desirable when it starts taking over lawns and flowerbeds.

Should we be ranting about aviation matters? henkybaby wasn't specific.

It is not my thread, I just started it. It was intended to prevent these long rants about travel (BA) related mishaps since we all know the pain. For example

[RANT]
Seat ShiFted from 62K to 15F
[/RANT]

We can all sympathize etc. But hey, garlic will do too.

My only real rant for aviation is the people that seem to need to have an affair with the belt at baggage reclaim.

As for everything else in life, I am fed up with most things so am confused why I get surprised by people any more. But there are still nice people out there. I think I am a little tired.
