Peculiar MMB feature of occupied exit row seats

On an upcoming flight LHR-BCN, I've noticed a fairly new peculiarity of MMB. An unoccupied exit row seat is simply labelled "Exit" and like other unoccupied seats is Blue if avaialble for selection. An occupied seat is labelled "Exit Seat", is white, and is pushed back, being shown as further back than the unoccupied seats (even if it's a seat with limited recline!).

The non-exit rows don't have this odd behaviour and the exit rows didn't used to have. When I say the peculiarity is "new", I haven't travelled on an intra-European flight for over six months, so it could have developed any time in that period.

Is this deliberate or a glitch? What does it mean? It shows up both in Safari and IE, so it doesn't seem to be a browser-specific issue.

I've noticed this too, I think it must just be a glitch.

You're right. I just checked my flight from FRA to LHR and it is as you write. I do not recall
seeing this when I chose my seats last week. Peculiar indeed!
