G-LCYM yesterday about 5pm - sitting at STN

As per the title, G-LCYM was hiding at the far end of the runway at STN yesterday afternoon. Any ideas why it was there?

Was it at the southern end and on the opposite side to the terminal? If so it was probably at Inflite for maintenance.

It was at the Southern end but on the terminal side, quite close to that diamond shaped building on the map.

Ah, the diamond hanger is FLS aerospace so probably also maintenance. Its going back to LCY today.

London City doesnt have any decent size hangers so any heavy checks are done elsewhere. Historically the 146's were done at Inflite.

There was a bit of confusion at LCY on Sunday evening: a leased plane was doing an AMS rotation and my ARN was apparently moved from the planned E190 to an E170 (or, at least, that was one of the several confused explanations they gave for delayed boarding).

Possibly G-LCYM taken out of service with a small cascade of irregularities?

Normally cityflyer uses a Titan 146 to cover for and aircraft that goes down. so that might well of been the leased bird that was operating the AMS run on Sunday
