Going to Tokyo from Stockholm via London. Flight from ARN cancelled
Hi,
Im flying ARN-LHR-NRT on thursday but the flight between ARN-LHR is canceled.
Im in the phone que and have some question.
What are my options?
To book a flight on SK/Ryanair to London?
Try to be booked on another airline. For example ARN-HEL-NRT on AY?

The problem isn't rerouting, it's the fact that most flights are fully booked.

If it was me, I would try to purchase a ticket ARN-LHR with a different carrier (even Ryanair/Easyjet) to an alternative airport LGW,STN,LTN. If BA doesn't reroute you should be able to still have LHR-NRT.

I've been rebooked by BA to SK on multiple occasions, one time they even called and informed me about the change before I knew about the cancellation. I'm sure BA will do anything to sort out rebookings and reroutings but the problem is Christmas, most flights are already fully booked.
ARN-LHR is a bottleneck even when BA flyes, now with the possible reduced capacity to LHR I would expect every plane to be jam packed.
A problem is of course to reach BA and inform them that the Op will use LHR-NRT even if ARN-LHR is cancelled. Of course, there's always a risk that the NRT flight is cancelled as well.
Not an ideal situation In just seven days I will try my luck ARN-LHR-JNB.
I wish the Op all the best of luck, please inform us how it goes.
