Ba.com / aa.com / united.com down ???

okay this is odd. is anyone able to access any of these sites ? I was in the middle of doing award searches and the site just went under.

Getting 504 errors now ... DoS ?

Was just about to say... tried UA and BA; both were unavailable. Delta seemed up.

Air France too, looks like.

Could it be those Wikileaks "Hacktivists"?

mamlewis Dec 13, 2010 7:18 pm

also delta, united aa, priorityclub, intercontinental.

Something is going down.......

Probably not a coincidence. Anonymous doesn't just attack random targets though. May just be another group who have decided to jump on the bandwagon. Targeting infrastructure like this will not lead to a good place for anyone

Thought it was me at first, but yup, AA, DL and UA all either down or very slow.
AC, AS, CO and SQ are fine.

flyingnomad Dec 13, 2010 7:22 pm

yup, has all the hallmarks of a DoS attack. BAEC phones are going to be flooded again ...

Priorityclub was down for me a few minutes ago but is now fine (as is intercontinental), so I wonder if it was just a coincidence. (Not exactly the same prominent target that AA/UA/BA/AF are.) Delta looks OK to me as well.

hmmmm, strange. I can get continental, delta, klm, air canada, but not AA, BA, UA or VS.

Seems like they're after the airlines allowed to fly LHR- USA under the Bermuda I/II agreements :)

I called the UA 1K Desk, and this was the first they had heard about the website being down
