Must be summer schedule only.
LCY does go a tad quiet in the summer for business travel.

Alternating with IBZ or some other beach destination

Good timings for a weekend break too. Although the Sunday return would have been even better if more around 20:00 from FAO. Although would this then violate a LCY curfue I wonder as the landing would be around 22:00?

GLA in particular needs an earlier flight from LCY. Nice to see a new option from LCY, shame it wasn't LIS though.

NQY would be nice from LCY to replace the flights that SZ pulled.

i agree with you Smirnoff

i didnt post anything similar as im not sure what the loads were like when the service operated ?

at the time SZ pulled the service they were more in the cr*p than they currently are! but rumour has it that loads and the cost of operating ex LCY was what signalled the cancellation of the service.

SZ has now been bought up by T3 with SHH having to pay T3 to take the airline off their hands! However as well as binning the LCY flights, SZ are also reducing the LGW rotations to 3 a day from 4.

Personally id love to see LCY-NQY-LCY operated by BA on a E170 and im pretty sure that it would be fairly well supported with a decent amount of advertising and well timed flights

I did NQY-LCY a few times and the flights were packed, RHS full from NQY, and LHS filled up at PLH, every seat taken.

And there were never any of the cheapie 29 fares on the route. If you added the possibility of connecting on to AMS, GLA etc etc, I think it would work.

If anyone out there is listening I'll add my vote both for LGW-MAD to return and LCY-NQY.

I used to like the LCY-MAN route too when VLM did it.

oh it would work, no doubt about it!

personally speaking i think this is where SZ is missing out, if you added in a BA codeshare on the NQY-LGW route i think you would see a large increase in demand ! its currently painful to fly SZ NQY-LGW and then connect onto BA if you have a bag checked in!

Bring on NQY-LCY!!!!! the PLH sector couldnt be added in due to the runway length at PLH
