OT: Reminder. $14 ESTA charge from 8th Sept 2010
So if you're planning to make any trips within the next two years or just want to 'refresh' your clearance, make sure you do it soon!
BTW. $4 of the fee is going towards admin costs and $10 will go towards 'promoting tourism'... which I take to mean saving California.

A question on ESTA. Once I've made my assumption (and forgotten to print it, thinking I'd get an email confirmation), how can I check the other details I entered such as nationality and place of residence? The "update" option only relates to future journeys.

Regrettably, our current passports expire before our current ESTA ... so we will have to re-apply [and pay] next year anyway. However, I think the Domestic Accounts will cope with $14 x 2.

I searched for this thread as I wasn't exactly sure when I applied for my current now expired ESTA. Those like myself who obtained their free ESTA during the closing hours of 7 September 2010, a new ESTA is needed for the next visit to the US.
