On the more general point , another really poor decision by BA.
Maybe they haven't alienated enough FF's already. Another 'enhancement' that they'll dress up.

Stay where you are - a great pair of seats. A "don't both waiting to print your own boarding pass" situation. (unless you want the other side of the plane for light / sun problems )

Not sure if this has already been posted, but UD seats are indeed now included in the paid for option.

However, it's all routes other than LON-NYC-LON, "due to demand from existing Golds and Premier customers"....should that actually read "demand from FTers"?!

From Speedbird Club, today:

Presumably you can't buy a cot position. Not sure about the rest - my upcoming 747 flights are pretty full on the UD seat maps already.

I have a flight in November and just noticed today that "cot" has been removed from 64A. Was in 62J and jumped ship. Can still see the main deck has "cot" infront of the seats. Perhaps no more infants in UD??????

The expression "you couldn't make it up" comes to mind.

...and no 64A held back either.

I really hope this is a glitch or I shall be rethinking my loyalty to BA.

I have to yet again agree, I wouldn't pay for a J ticket without the right to also reserve a seat.

Are there other airlines with the same policy for J pax? I haven't heard of it.
