I took an airport upgrade (WT to CW) AMM-LHR for 410 JOD = approx £350
Not really worth it imo, but wanted to try out the mid haul club product.

Having been a frequent user of POUGs on return journeys from LHR, particularly to ZRH, TXL and FRA, I should know the answer to this question:
However, I have just booked a one-way flight CDG-LHR for March. As this is a one-way journey, would this still be applicable for a POUG? With the journey just being a one-way would this have an impact on POUG availability? Does anyone have any experience?
There is currently no POUG availability on this booking, but I am hoping that it this is something to do with the current sale (although technically it is an ex-UK sale).

Curious I've never seen one of these offer panels on any flight I've booked.
A couple of questions (I've read the thread extensively and couldn't see these addressed anywhere):
1. Does it matter whether APIS has been completed?
2. Is it correct that the offer is likely only to be offered if I or U inventory are available? Curiously by outbound doesn't even list I and currently U seats are only being offered on earlier flights, but wide open in every other bucket. The inbound has plenty of I.

My very limited experience is that I inventory being available is well-correlated with a POUG.

Hi,
Does anyone know the cost of a cash upgrade (MMB or at the airport) from WT to CW on the YYC-LHR route? or YVR-LHR?

No I class: POUG rarely offered, if at all
Presence of I class availability: No guarantee whatsoever that POUG will be offered (in many cases they don't offer them).

Purchased an airport upgrade to CE yesterday for GBP 99 for my LHR - Sofia sector yesterday. During online check-in, the proactive upgrade price was 600+
Having in mind I paid only GBP 80 for the Y ticket, I think the upgrade was worth additional TPs
