JER-LGW 18 May, LHR-IAD 19 May

"I've packed my bags, I'm ready to go ..."

OLCI at 1315, and then I'll know what/where/when/if

Well that's the exact issue we're having now. Although like you said, we also got in touch with a lovely lady on the Gold line who put notes in the system for the check-in agent to pull us off the original flight and re-validate out LHR-TLV.

Hopefully all should work out.

Thumbs up

Now on the BBC ... "all restrictions at LHR and LGW lifted..."

The wind has already swung round to the southwest.

Eeek - that is a new downside of the cheaper ex-AMS flights on BA.

LCY/LHR/LGW being open but AMS being shut.

I think I must be lucky.

BA 1463 last night held for 45 minutes on the gate and then took a long and winding route down from EDI to avoid the restricted airspace (EDI - Overhead GLA - West of Isle of Man - Wrexham - Chepstow - South of London - 27L) and arrived 45 minutes late.

T5 was fairly empty this morning (I had no-one in front of me at N Fast Track security, a personal first), and BA 936 to DUS pushed back about 20 minutes late, then headed to a hold somehwere neat T5C for 40 minutes and then took off an hour late.

Tonight's return is showing to be departing on time as well.

I noticed a few short haul flights cancelled (CDG was one), but it did seem very much like business as usual.

Slightly OT ... or perhaps not? I'm now a bit confused with OLCI over the next 2 days.

I have linked sectors on a single booking. Just done the OLCI for the first one [18 May JER-LGW] ... and I used to be able, at the same time, to OLCI for the TATL the following day. But not now!

Can any BA Wizards enlighten me?
