All the aisle seats are exposed, but on the UD the aisle is wider as well, so not as bad as downstairs and the whole cabin feels more spacious. We were in 62J/K recently, K great, J - where I was - fine. Toilet at the front and back so 62 is the middle with very little passing traffic

Can you still be kicked out of 64A because of the bassinet position or is does this procedure no longer apply?

Am I the only person who finds the UD aisle seats a bit bouncy when people walk past? I really don't like that.

But doesn't 63A has to climb over 64B legs to reach the aisle, while 64A not?

I have the same "problem" as the OP, by the way. Couple, first time chance to try the UD. On the map, row 63 is still all available while 64 has only A/B. (Row 62 unavailable, or I would have chosen that one)

Yes 63A/K has to climb over 64B/J, but i see it as 'Fair' as the better of any UD seat is the window, so to make it as pleasant as possible for both i am willing to climb over in exchange for the window and 63b/j are happy as no one climbs over. This is the reasoning that all isles are sub par IMO to a window but 63 is one of the best isle seats, not to near the galley, a toilet and no climb over. I have so far picked these both every time in UD when not alone.

Our first CW flight was in 64A/B I was in A and the wife in B and she never complained about it being exposed. The toilet and galley are far enough away not to bother you.

We're not as fussy as some on here right enough.

60B must be worse than 64B, surely?

1st CW flight next February which happens to be on an A380 (LHR-LAX). As a couple do I need to worry about seating or just see what's available at OLCI (-24hr). Only seats booked so far are 50A/B, 56B and 10J.

Personally I would wait and select for free as soon as OLCI opens.

Cheers Nux, I guess I have just been reading way to much about seat selection.

Favourite upper deck seat

I'm about to book my first CW flight on a 747. Which is the upper deck seat that folk on here are always raving about? Is it the seats in row 64? Seat Guru implies the right hand seats (j and k) are not that great... what do others think?

Many thanks

It's not as simple as you think . Be prepared for about six different answers .

You will get 19 different opinions here. My favourites are 62A/K when travelling alone.

64A or 64K are the best seats, not much between them and I have tried both several times. My own preference is 64A, but some like 64K instead.

Ignore seatguru.

At exactly 450pm you had three opinions...what did I say?
