On a similar theme ....
Family of 4 in F (2 girls 9 & 7) to SIN on a 747
We've currently got 2A, 2K, 3A & 3K
How offset are the rows with the middle seats and is that central thing between the row 3 seats? ie should I do 3A, 4E, 4F & 3K with the girls in the window seats so we can keep half an eye on them?
TIA

It's easy to see it other from 2A to 2K, 3A and 3K the view is blocked, if you didn't all want windows I would go for the second option.

Yes, I agree, the second option would be best with children.

I travelled back from YYZ last month in 2K and it was hard to see anyone in row 3 and too far to chat with seat 2A

Bit of a longshot but does anyone know whether it is possible to work out whether we are likely to get a 773 to BOS this summer (BA213 end of August) or a 772. I've looked at expedia.com and the flights are showing as "Available seats for this flight cannot be viewed at this time" in WT/WT+ & CW so no chance of working it out from that. This flight used to be a 747 and this will be my first F on a 777.

KVS shows the 213 as a 777-200 from August 20th to August 25th and then back to a 747 for the remainder of the month.

Oh :censored: thanks for having a look would have loved it to be a 744 and the 773 would have been the next best thing. Oh well this is definitely a first world (not to mention First world) problem I'll have to live with.

The 777-200 is great in F Jimmie.

Thanks, at least it's going to be New F - wonder why it's not a 744 for those days.

Flying SYD - SIN next march in F with the wife. Currently I have 2E and 2F blocked for us. I was wondering if these are close enough so we could have a conversation if we wanted to or not? If yes then I should keep these or go with 1E & 1F? If not, then I'd rather book 2K/3K or 2A/3A. Also in case of window seat any particular side is better for views on this route?

These seats are a pair, right next to each other - see http://www.thebasource.com/seatmaps/...6j44w183y.html

I think the general consensus is that 2EF are better than 1EF or 4EF, because you're further away from noise-producing areas.
