How to book IAH to PVG using BA 1 partner award?
 
When I searched online and it only displayed option to connect in LHR.
is it possible to book partner AA online or I have to call?

I would say call BA - the online booking is good but prioritises BA options.

I think it is quite difficult to get the BA website to show airlines other than BA as it will always show the BA ones in preference.

I tried IAH-PVG and had no luck getting it to show me flights I know are available on AA as award flights. However when I eliminated the connection in North America and put in ORD-PVG the AA flight did show up on the BA website.

I think your best bet is to ring BA to sort this out for you.
