FRA T1 to T2...
 

Doing my first ex-EU via FRA tomorrow, arriving at T1 on LH and need to get across to T2 for BA check in/departure back to LHR.

Have looked at the FRA airport home page and it isn't entirely clear on best way to do landside terminal transfers, although it looks like I just need to hop on a bus from outside T1, is this correct?

You can catch the sky train from Ter 1 to Ter 2. I found the bus took longer and it's difficult to locate the departure point. Just follow the signs for Ter 2 when arriving and you should have no problem. It should take anywhere from 30-45 min depending on where you arrive in Ter 1.

Take the skytrain, it is one level above the departure hall in T1 Area B.

If you have only hand luggage then you can transfer using the skytrain but the airside carriage. This can be accessed from T1 Area A and Area B without going back through security.

Thanks guys, have hand baggage only so will try the airside transfer, in fact I can just print my boarding pass now and skip the whole landside thing...
