Pyjamas in F on a day flight?

I usually fly overnight so am not sure about this. We've got two day flights coming up in F. Do we get pyjamas automatically? If not, are they likely to have any onboard?

Yes they’ll be onboard. Slim chance you might have to ask but more likely they’ll be offered

Can I help you Jan 3, 2025 3:13 am

They should be offered, nothing to do with the time of day.

They were proactively offered a couple of weeks ago BOS to LHR, the daytime flight.

Was offered them and slippers on daytime flight to JFK no slippers offered night flight JFK-LON.

You're not wrong, but it would be nice to get some consistency of service in a cabin that can command high 4-figure fares.

I take the day flight frequently and they have always offered the pjs and the washbag

I still have 2 BA pens which were included in amenity bags about 10 years ago. We are flying in F next summer and it will be interesting to see how the current offering compares

The BA F pens are now smaller (May 2024 BOS/LHR)

It will be interesting to see how they perform. My two 10 year old pens are still in excellent condition.

No pjs offered to me recently LHR-BOS

These ones lasted me years! The new ones swapped around 2019/2020 from memory. The new ones look similar but start leaking ink and not extending fully after short use. The silver end rubberised tip also very quickly rubs off to black now. The metal clip also snaps off really easily now with only minor use as a fidget toy.

Interestingly I did get what felt like the old BA ones at the Conrad in Dubai earlier this year if anyone is craving the old pens!

I am a PJs during the day flyer. Two recent F day time flights. Proactively offered in one, not on the other. Slippers are offered even less frequently.

That’s definitely an anomaly/service slip. For all of ba’s flaws, and there are many, I’ve never had a ba f flight with pyjamas not supplied, and I’ve had quite a few. Did you ask and what was the answers?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the term for day pajamas is "leasurewear". ;)
