CPT (sans pig!) OF or CW seat?

For me, I'd choose the OF seat (you might drop lucky and get an NF aircraft).

Unless you need IFE or the power socket, the OF seat gives a much more comfortable sleep on these night flights

How would the owners feel if they found out you're in First and you didn't let them know about this opportunity?

The OP is not technically in First, as it's still ticketed as Club World.

...and I'm doing exactly that on an upcoming PHX. Upper Deck 62K on the way out so I can power the laptop and work (or watch movies), downstairs 2K on the way home.

I flew OF back from YVR last week in 3A and it was fine, especially for sleeping. Only problem was the IFE which kept freezing and breaking up. I have been on upper deck before and would choose OF every time for a night flight. Power was available but it was empower and I had a converter.

Thanks for the input folks, and concern for my travelling companions too (WLTFF)!
I just wasn't sure if the actual seat in OF was a better sleeping option than the new CW, as dimensions if anything seem smaller (when flat) - narrower?
But i think the small cabin and general feel will be nice in the OF.
I like the UD as it too is small, but i'm liking the feel of being in the nose. weird hey.
Thanks again.

First seats are wider and longer than Club World seats, and overall much more comfortable for sleeping.

I find OF seats the most comfortable for sleeping of the fleet. You might want to bring some sanitary wipes though and bring your own movies rather than rely on the IFE.

CPT (sans pig!) OF or CW seat?

Bring your own IFE should be standard on that fleet regardless of cabin. IFE has to be rebooted on all 4 LHR-CPT segments I have been on in the last couple of months (with the last one being last week Tuesday).

I'd take OF all the time. With that being said the gentleman in 1K asked to be moved back to the main club world section upon shortly after seatbelt signs went off.

Managed to work out the references to the pig called Kevin with the help of 'find more posts by MarshyM' but what's WLTFF? Even google gave up.

Thanks! Thought I'd missed out on some new up and coming acronym :)

This is all about optics. Whether the specific seats are marketed as F or CW is of no consequence. If the seats look like F and look better, only OP can assess how the owners will feel about this. It's not as though the owners are looking at fare basis coding.
