Baggage Porter for Bicycle at T3 GRU arrivals?

Hi,

Will be bringing a bicycle (in a box) as checked luggage to Brazil, and will land in Sao Paulo with that, and two other checked bags. If it were only my luggage, I'm sure I could manage on my own with a single luggage cart, but with the bike-box, I fear I'll need some help to get all my stuff out the door and on to the drop-off for domestic flights.

I've often seen some porters milling around in white uniforms - but haven't ever thought to use their services. This might be a solutoin, but I have no idea:

a) if they must be arranged in advance
b) how much a fair price is for help with a bicycle box
c) whether using their services will doom me to an automatic passage through the customs x-ray machines. [it's a tight connection, I'd prefer not to lose time there if I can help it]

Does anyone here have any idea how this works in practice? Alternatively - is it even possible to imagine getting a bike box + two suitcases onto a single luggage cart at GRU?

Thanks for any insights you can share,

As far as I know, there aren`t people dedicated to help you with your luggage in the GRU airport (im not saying that doesnt exist). I have checked bicycle in the past and I can say that it is not easy to carry your regular luggage plus another box and YES you will need a second cart to carry that. The good thing is, the walk from where you get your luggage to where you check it again isnt far so, take two carts and take your time.

Do not accept help of anyone that doesnt have a GRU badge, if they identify themselves as an airport agent, ok, otherwise I would not accept the help. Just me

To conclude the story: in the end - with some careful balancing, was able to manage all on my own. And this is lucky, because it turned out the the white-uniformed porters (carregadores) only congregate beyond the exit from Arrival Duty Free shop.
