Nova Lima: restaurant recommendations?
 

I will be in Belo Horizonte for part of next week. We will be staying and working in Nova Lima, an area of the city I don't know well. I'd appreciate any restaurant recommendations particularly for places that are within easy walking distance of the Mercure BH hotel on Alameda da Serra.

Doesn't need to be fancy, just good. TIA.

This avenue, and the neighbourhood around it, of late have become a very busy area for restaurants and bars. It is an affluent suburb and most residents would not accept driving to Belo Horizonte for a meal or drinks. You should have no problem with concierge suggestions.
