I hadn’t thought of GOL. That has a 10.10 flight so I might be able to do it with checked baggage.

I guess we’d be arriving in the rush hour so SDU would be the best.

I need to persuade Mrs srbrenna to travel HBO though if I was to go for the LATAM flight. We might even be able to use the lounge!

The GOL lounge is accessible with PriorityPass and was surprisingly nice.

Genius! Thanks for all the info.

I’m thinking of taking the GOL flight but there’s a chance I could take the earlier LATAM flight.

Its really great to have all this help on FT!

Advise needed on the following itinerary:
AR1244 (EZE-GRU), arriving at 18:15, "self connecting" on a separate ticket to G3 1698 at 21:10 and having checked luggage.
As far as I understand, both flights are in terminal 2, assuming that even if AR agrees to check our baggage through it still needs to be picked up and re-checked.

Is this a doable "connection" or am I looking for troubles?

Should be. you are 5 minutes short of a 3 hour connection and in all my connections thru GRU I normally look for something about 3 hours. Have done 2 hours on occasion. This is both International to Domestic and the reverse.

You should definitely be fine !
I was in GRU 10 days ago and it took me around 1h30 to clear customs which was a bit exceptional

Reporting back... everything was fine, there were no other Int'l flight arriving at T2 at the time so no queue at immigration, it probably took about 20 minutes from doors opening to outside of customs and another 10 minutes walk to the GOL check-in counters.
