If it is a weekend day I would say Rio 100% and hit the beach. If it’s a random Tuesday in September then I don’t know.

What do you like to do? Beaches, art museums, parks, views, old churches,.....?

Rio, without a doubt. Check out Cristo Redentor (if itís not covered by the clouds), Sugarloaf (consider buying your ticket online to cut down on the queue), Copacabana, and Ipanema.

Ubers are plentiful and cheap.

I live on the beach so thatís not the most important. But it would be cool to see. Architecture and general sightseeing as Iím only there limited hours.

Thanks to all

I'm assuming you will have a Brazilian visa, otherwise you would most likely be stuck airside.
