Azul - New York route?
 
Anyone know if Azul has confirmed whether they are going to start a jfk route?

They had proposed May but nothing yet.

I know Brazilian airlines are having a tough year so perhaps on hold?

Neeleman took all the aircraft that were meant for expansion to Portugal. You can think of the new LIS-JFK by TAP as the replacement for the intended VCP-JFK.
