Seems the Recife flight resumes for high season in mid-December though.

There has also been a flight into Belo Horizonte. Anyone have news of its fate?

Shame they couldn't turn it into a triangle routing (as it originally was).

Not hugely surprising given the environment and ~10% yoy drops in traffic in Brazil. I'd speculate these were largely aimed at Brazil originating traffic back when the BRL was very strong, credit was freeflowing and US trips were cheap. Uptick in US originating traffic today from the weak BRL is blunted by the visa requirement.

Now when even GRU-JFK is getting downguaged....
