Brazil Visa: OK if in expiring passport if I have a 2nd passport?

I have a 10 year Brazil visa in a passport that expires April 2016. I would like to go to Brazil in March. I have a 2nd passport that is good to go. Is this OK in Brazil? I know the easy answer is 'yes', but some countries do have nuances, so thought I should check.

It's fine. Carry both passports. You have to have a passport with six months minimum on it to enter, and the other to show the visa. Just a little inconvenient IMO. Happy travels.

Not a problem in Brazil. Makes it easier for the Immigration officer if you staple the passports together.

ok to fly with VISUM in expired passport

I can vouch for this as I have done it. So long as the new passport is valid and the old passport shows the current VISUM, you'll get in and out no problem
