Brazil to EZE - looking for FT Courier.....

Hello Folks...

Im looking for someone based in Brazil that would be willing to bring down a few bags of Organic Coffee beans for me. Another FTer that is based in GIG will be getting these for me and would be able to forward them to pretty much any Brazilian city for the Courier to bring it down to EZE.....

Thanks for considering this... ^ :D

Care to share what this coffee is and where to buy it?

What exactly are the Customs regulations at EZE regarding bringing in coffee beans?

We have brought in a few kilos of coffee beans from the US via GRU before without a problem however maybe they weren't picked up by the scanner.

Well, I don't know. I think this may get the Narcotics Police a little weary as Coffee is used to disguise the other stuff.... but maybe Ive seen too many old gangster movies. Perhaps this approach is worth a try. I will check with my Brazilian Coffee mafia contact and give this some further consideration.

As I said in another thread my pipe cleaner package from the UK had been opened and inspected by the correo customs. It was forwarded on to me without any problem so I'm pretty certain your coffee beans would get the same treatment.
Let me know how you get on. I'm in dire need of some good quality coffee.

It looks like I will get supplied by one or more couriers.... but I will still see if I want to try the postal service route. My concern is that if one of the bags of coffee gets opened, Im not sure I would still want to use the coffee.

Pipe cleaners is one thing, but I don't think I want to put beans that have been messed around with in my brand new Jura Z9, not to mention I will then be drinking the stuff......

The Coffee we are looking for is.....

Native
Café Organico
100% Arabica Espresso - Café Torrado em Graos
500g vacuum sealed bags

I don't have exact directions on where to find it, but apparently is has decent distribution across large Brazilian cities.

If you have time and can find this or some other high-end Brazilian Organic Coffee beans, I will take it off your hands here in EZE, any quantity up to 2.5 kilograms. Will reimburse expenses in US Dollars or Pesos Cash (at Xoom equivalent rates).

Many thanks,
Alex
