Curious, anyone use these folks or know about them? They have numerous online complaints, but most are from 3-5 years ago. They have the best fares to Brasil that I cannot find anywhere else. I am concerned bc to book a ticket they request much more information than is required.

I used to use BACC a lot for yearly trips to Brazil, from their Boston area office, a number of years ago when they offered much better fare prices than anyone else. Never had any type of problem. Now their prices are not so much better than any of the other Brazilian agencies (such as Chang Express) so they aren't the sole agency to get my current business, but I'd still recommend them.

I had a difficult experience with them while booking a flight last year with regard to the lack of customer service. I recently requested pricing form them for an upcoming flight and have not received any response at all.

Maybe it's just a fluke, I'm not sure, though.

Just curious which office you're dealing with (or an 800 number). I was always a walk in and the Brazilians working in that office were always very responsive.

This time it was an email to them, the time before I called the office directly.

I found one of their representatives to be very responsive and booked through them. Very good customer service. Again, it was the issue of who are these people and what are they going to do with all of the information they are getting.

Ironically, today, I found my same itinerary a whopping $7 cheaper if I were to book directly on the tam website. It looks like TAM is having a system wide sale that ends in 12 hours.
