1st Time in Sao Paulo
 

Oi:

Fist time in Sao Paulo, staying at the Grand Hyatt. Been reading a lot about SP, understand it's a huge city so want to know what the area around the Hyatt is like (Brooklin) ironic, my Mom was born & raised in Brooklyn, NYC.
Would like to tour thru Liberdad, best way to get there? I'll be busy with work during the day but looking forward to getting out and drinking some famous -2C Sao Paulo CHOPP and eating some Feijoada.

I believe the Liberdad neighborhood is accessible from the metro station Dom Pedro 11.
Note: My personal experience with relating Brooklyn, NY to Brooklin, S.P. has always been greeted by a complete and absolute lack of interest on the part of any Brazilians involved. :-) My advice: Keep it to yourself.
