New GIG terminal 2 exists!

New GIG terminal 2 exists!

There was a visit by a reporter to the new extension of Terminal 2 last week. It exists, and it seems probable that the new ten checkin stations and other facilities will probably open in mid-2011. There are problems, such as stolen fittings, but ti seems likely we actually will see improvements within the next six months.

There still is no definitive news about when either GIG or GRU will be capable to accept the A380.

Indeed, I read the news. It seems it will significantly amplify the space of GIG T2.
