'rules' of lost boarding cards
 
Why is it that the only boarding cards you ever lose are:
a) for unposted miles and
b) for journeys for which there is no online checkin (so can't recreate) and
c) for partner airlines

A copy of your E ticket should be sufficient enough. If your on a flight where they hang your coat they often ask for you BP to put round the hanger. So many times you do not get the BP back.

i am having even more problems with the non-registering of miles/status on flights which i have never had a boarding card because i tried the mobile phone mms

Even if you do send a copy to your phone by MMS (now supported by the iPhone too, but the bmi boarding passes look weird on there) you still have the option to email the PDF to yourself too.

This is always a good idea just in case you need to forward it to diamond club.

Alternatively your phone may be able to save a screenshot and you can forward that.
