Missing destinations?
Does anyone know why some destinations BMI code share partners fly to are missing of the latest destination list on the BMI website?
I am specifically thinking YYZ (Toronto). BMI have a code share with AC but I have no idea how you would book it. e.g. AC 848 = BD 4848 (20:40 YYZ > LHR daily) as shown in their summer Timetable How would one go about booking BD4848 (other than heading over to AC's website and booking AC848) ? lcs |
A good travel agent?
I'm not sure what difference using the BD code rather than AC makes for most travellers - for star alliance FF programmes mileage earning is based on the carrier that operates the flight rather than the airline booked with. |

When your corporate booking system picks the lowest fare you are better off selecting BD as your preferred carrier ;) Unless anyone else can think of a way around it? |

OK the difference is that BD generally offers Tango+ fares rather than just straight Tango. The crux of the matter being points are indeed awarded on the metal you fly on.

Unless your corporate policy allows to use other sales channels than the in-house system. |
