Trying to redeem a CA flight in F.

Sorry, sir, First Class does not exist on this flight.

Three times.

Sorry, sir, even our help desk says First Class does not exist on this flight.

Funny how CA is showing O2 and everyone else, UA (yes, UA!), AC, and SQ see the First Class available.

Any recourse?

Systems up, problem stil there. Now what? Agents have no clue what a long-sell is, promised call back after a discussion with the relevant department obviously did not happen, and I seem to be SOL. Ideas?

When BMI does well, they do well.

The issue has been mostly resolved now, with the correct reservation on hold, and apparently the buy points problem will be fixed by Friday.
