Busted by the ICC

Now see what happens when you post your travel plans in a public forum.... I've made my booking to HKG, see threads passim, and quickly looked at my booking this AM in Check My Trip. What do I see in the agent comments.....

YO MAN PAX

Just a note for any more lurkers out there - I really don't mind at all - if fact it made me chuckle when I read the comment. Sometimes it's nice to be noticed. Perhaps all my future bookings could be tagged YO MAN PAX - VSFU!

(And the booking was a breeze to make with an excellent female agent who knew her stuff - I sent a praise email in, so I hope it makes to the right place)

How strange that we all seem to be from MAN and that all working at the ICC are rastafarians.

Hate to burst your bubble, but a booking I have made for this October has that exact same comment!

I am amazed and very amused you took it personally! A very old quirk of bmi redemption bookings much commented on and joked about before.

MAN may stand for Mansoor.

Mine has said 'YO RAPC' for ages now*

*Except for the rest of the time when YO MAN PAX applies. To be honest it has been a good year or so that this has been appearing on CMT from memory.

My current guess is:
YO MAN is Mr Y. O. Mansoor (YO being Mr Mansoor's initials).
Pax is refering to you being one of his passengers.

That said, I'm sure that's way off the mark and probably nothing to do with Mansoor.

Well, in my very weak defence it's been over a year since my last redemption, so I may not have seen it before.

I don't go with the Mansor theory, as it was very much Miss-sor who delat so well with my booking.

There is / was a Mansor there. All redemptions say the same no matter who the agent is on the phone.
