Have you had your BMI Xmas Dinner yet??

Flew LHR-DUB last night and was a pleasant change on the menu ! A BMI Xmas Dinner. Have to say it was really nice and had everything in it. Turkey/Stuffing/
Parsnips/Sprouts/Gravy and the most important Cranberry sauce.

Then for afters a mini Gold Lindt Raindeer.

Nice change to the menu BMI ^

Agreed, but to be fair, as my old dear insists it is impossible to cook sprouts to perfection in under 60 minutes

Quite. It would make for a windy flight, though.

Its the cheap dishes that make it look bad. If it were served on a mini Swiss style caserole dish it would look more appealing. It was very tasty though. Although not as good as the meal I got ATH-LHR on Olympic Airlines A340 in Business Class. They had a choice of 3 dishes. Salmon,Beef or Moussaka! I have to say I was amazed at the service and quality of food and Wines onboard.

The BMI flight crew were good also. Got a bottle of Champagne ''one for the road'' as she said !! Will enjoy that tomorrow

I heard her say to another passenger that its a discrace that they have plastic coffee cups in J class. Maybe this will be aknowledged when the whole catering in J gets an upgrade in Spring

It actually looks quite nice, if only in a porcelain dish or bowl. It would have some class then. To me, nothing is better than turkey and stuffing. Absolutely one of my most favourite meals for the wintertime.

Since when are you flying BD? Was all LX booked out?

I agree that this would look better if they would serve it on some sort of china / porcelain rather than in the plastic.

But I'm sure next year everything will be better when LH takes over.

I think this thread makes the point quite nicely. And it's worth scrolling down a bit...

I think it looks not too bad. Can't spot the cranberry sauce though.

Out of interest DELLAS, if you didn't want the Turkey Chirstmas dinner, what was the other choice? Was it Turkey Curry, Lemon Turkey, Turkey Stroganoff or Vegetarian Turkey?
