Stopover question

If I want to make a stopover on a redemption, is there a time limit to the stopover?

I dont think there is, well within 12 monhts I assume.

I've read a couple of reports that the maximum stopover is 3 months, but have no experience myself. This is the only post I could find, though I'm sure it was mentioned more recently.

Thanks again ^ We just wanted a few days on the way to somewhere else and if it was limited then I wanted to make sure that we arrived and departed within the time limit.

Longest I did was 2 weeks, but that was no issue.
