No more LH F on cash + points awards?

I have heard from several ICC agents today that LH F is no longer allowed to be booked using cash and points.

Has anyone else heard this?

MODERATOR EDIT:
Diamond Club, bmi's official lurker has confirmed this here.

No.

Find it very hard to believe TBH, though we know how accurate and well informed the Indian Call centre can be

I think a lot of us would disagree. Also, LH offers BY FAR the most F capacity into/out of Europe in *A, and losing them would be a huge blow

It seems a strange carve-out, if this is really the new policy.

Given how few European * Alliance carriers even have a first class cabin, this kind of policy would eliminate a huge slice of first class cash+mile award space for travel to/from Europe.

Interesting, interesting...

...but it just doesn't make any sense. Either way, I ticketed 2 F tickets on LH yesterday for cash & points - no questions asked.

Looks like this needs a word from Joanna !

Before the speculations become too much someone should contact BMI... I was actually planning to redeem for an F ticket next week.

It was especially an advantage because the F awards were nearly always available while X (who wants that anyways) and I are mostly gone

I don't believe it for a second. Why would BD restrict LH F to miles only awards ?

Sounds more like the ICC Game of the Day. Number of customers fobbed off with 'no C&M' nonsense, by 20:00, wins !

I wonder what the sweepstake pot is at the end of the shift ?

Todays game will be 'Put them on hold, wait five minutes, and cut them off'

It sounds indeed fishy... except LH's bills get tpp big in the recent months

But it really doesnt make sense. If LH then all F awards as it is no different than TG, SQ, UA, NH amd whatever F ticketing.

Game of the day tomorrow: I tell you to issue your ticket, but dont do it ! @:-)

Well, this game gets old with the time...
