E mail Survey

I got an e mailed BMI Diamond Club online survey today. Anyone lese get it?

My main suggestion was to ditch the Business Lounge/Diamond Lounge distinction (there is no real value to the distinction in my mind) and instead have a larger, more varried lounge (maybe copying the LHR Domestic BA Terrace idea) with some food (eg sandwiches) and free to sue internet terminals.

Haven't received this yet, but they generally send these shots out in batches over several days.

I agree with your suggestions, esp re: food (sandwiches) and internet (but would add wireless to free terminals). I think it's quite nice that there are separate lounges, particularly when travelling at peak times when the regular lounge can be a bit of a scrum. They need to "break up the space" a bit more - the larger lounges feel more like a departure hall. Smoking sections in all lounges would be nice.

Did you see this recent thread on lounges, Stephen?

And naturally, it's purely coincidental that a week after bmi's free focus group whinge about their lounges, they decide to commission a little research into it...

I don't eat cheese. I can't eat cheese as a number of people have an allergy to it. Can I have a special meal with no cheese? No! No such option with Bmi or any airline for that matter.

It wasn't a problem until the bento box as I could always have a croissant or part of the cooked breakfast if it happened to have cheese. Now I'm offered a sausage panni that when I eat into it find it contains cheese.

A more varied selection of choices for snacks would be welcome as the current onboard offerings are simply not up to it.

If there was a reasonable selection of Sandwiches in the Lounge I would happily forego food on the plane !

Just give me WLAN in the lounges so I can whine on these forums about the lounges whilst in the lounge.

And sandwiches like BA ......

Yes, I got this survey, and have filled it in.

I quite like the separate lounges - smaller, more intimate than Terraces. However, I strongly agree that a few sandwiches and a couple of internet terminals would be a huge improvement. D'ya think if a few of us say the same thing, they will listen to us?!

Completed the survey today....main points I made;-

1. Comfortable & roomy DC lounges.
2. If they wanted to know how to cater, pop into a BA, KLM or even a Servisair Lounge....at any of these you can get a sandwich or filled croissant.
3. Beer choice at LHR terrible (was non existant for 18 months!)....supposedly flagship Lounges!
