First C Trip in 6 months - Good and Bad
Been flying mainly BA recently - back to BD this morning.
Arrived at EDI and the self service machine wouldn't accept my credit card or my BMI Silver Card. Check in Queues were packed (and only one Business Class check in). I tried to get through security with my internet receipt but they turned me back. Stood in Business Class check in for 50 minutes getting extremely hacked off (It took her 20 minutes to check one group in).
Eventually with 20 minutes to go I flagged down a BMI supervisor who escorted me through security. Utter Chaos.
The flights from EDI-LBA and back were excellent. It was even a full traditional English breakfast - no sign of the Bento box.
So full marks for the inflight service - but please get the machines sorted and/or get more people on the check in desks!

I think the Bento Box is unique to LHR flights - the regionals never had it
...and, alas, no sign of it disappearing either. So there will be more accidents like the other week, when a hot cup of tea slid onto the lap of my neighbour. She then found the instructions in the bottom of the box...
