Codeshares

Just been looking on the bmi website and noticed this list of bmi codeshares. Do all of these still exist, on which routes?
  • United Airlines
  • SAS
  • Air Canada
  • Austrian Airlines
  • Malaysia Airlines
  • TAP (Air Portugal)
  • Virgin Atlantic
  • Air New Zealand
  • Gulf Air
  • Lufthansa
  • Air France
  • South African
  • ANA
  • Spanair
  • LOT Polish Airlines

Isn't it a shame we don't earn miles on them all!

ON the star alliance carriers, you can earn mileage on ALL flights execpt charter, and some "commuter flights", on the other carriers, just call BD to find out.

A lot of those codeshares are airlines using their codes on BD. For example Gulf Air and Virgin have their code on some UK Domestic flights. I'm not sure too many are the other way around.

bmi's "BD" code appears on the following airline for the code-share:

United (via ORD/IAD to nearly 40 cities in the US)

SAS (UK to/from Scandinavia)

Air Canada (UK to/from 7 Canadian cities)

Lufthansa (UK to/from Germany)

Spanair (via MAD to nearly 10 cities in Spain and Islands)

LOT (UK to/from Poland)

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 9:22 am.
