bmi launches new look website

Just logged in to flybmi.com and found a whole new website going on...

So this is what the big wait was all about!

I like the new site... apart from one thing, you can't log directly into DC. You now have to click 'diamond club' and then are taken to a separate DC login page.

I do however love the EU flag made up of the bmi birds, and you certainly wont miss the 'go' button. It's HUGE!

Agreed - that's a real pain... though it's nice not to have that blasted floating window popping up.

Inside the new site little has changed content wise, though I'm delighted to see the "Earning & Spending Guide" has appeared (with printer's crop marks and separations included). They haven't sent it to us "overseas" members yet...

Looks good to me too. Very firendly.

They still haven't sorted it out to allow me to log on to DC using AOL though. Now that is a pain.

I don't believe there is one yet.

Perhaps the lurker is having frenzied discussions about our discussions with his or her boss! They might sort our some of the huge problems with the programme for Golds and Silvers.

What, like differentiating Gold and Silver a bit more to make Gold worthwhile to achieve. Say a 50% destinations miles bonus for Gold and 25% for Silver - how would that go down?

My point exactly...

But sadly AB has none for Silvers - is this a better state of affairs?

The way they're making cut-back in my company at the moment, I may well care about silvers next year!

KLM gives 125% to Platinums, so there's no reason not to give a measly 50% to us
