BAA Visa Card Transfer Times
 

Hi All

Anyone any experiences of transfer times with the BAA Visa card to bmi DC ?

I transfered 1000 bmi miles about a month ago (two statements have arrived from BAA Visa since then, the first showing the transfer correctly) and no sign as yet on the bmi DC website.

Should I worry now ?

while we are at it, I transferred some BAA Worldpoints into bmi DC destination points a few months ago, and still have not seen them arrive...

I would give BAA a call or drop them an email. I only waited 10 days and then sent BAA an email to ask how long the process would take. BAA did not answer my question directly, but just apologised and said they would contact bmi. I received the points on my bmi account about 7 or so days later.

In answer to Bond Boy's question, this is a response I got from BAA:

How do I transfer BAA VISA WorldPoints to my bmi account? how long should this process take?

You can transfer points by making a telephone call to 0500 844 844 where an advisor will process this redemption for you.
This process should take a matter of days.

I have made the transfer twice now - on each occasion the points appeared in under 2 weeks.

The points have come out of my BAA account and out of my wife's BAA account and appeared nowhere !

Phoned today - points have go awry and they will sort out.

For future reference...they reckoned it will not take more than 4 weeks and the points get written down on a fax which is faxed to bmi on a regular basis. Go on, stick a zero on the end of mine would you http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
