Hotel partners

I don't know about you lot, but don't you think bmi should get some more hotel partners?

Well it all depends on how useful you think the destinations points are... all my hotel stays credit to my MP account.

Who are their partners at the moment? And who do you think should join?

Well, I suppose at least someone like Marriott, Six Continents or Starwood.

Currently it's only Hilton, Radisson and Jurys Doyle.

Erm... and btw how do you get your hotel stays to be credited to your MP account?

Some hotel chains require you to join their loyalty scheme (such as Best Western: Golden Crown International or something like that, and Holiday Inn). While others do not have such a thing.

Either way, you quote your number when reserving and / or at check-in.

I'm sure you can get points from Six Continents, but you might have to join their scheme and then transfer them over. I'm sure I managed this in the past somehow.

Yeah, for Six Continents and Best Western, you can tell them to post directly to your FF account -- in my case, AC.

I believe what you're saying, KrisFlyerEliteSilver but equally I'm sure that I used to do this 2-3 years ago. Anyone else remember that or am I just plain wrong?

Why do you want to earn destinations points though, why not stick the points into your Krisflyer account?
