Lufthansa?BMI/Avios?

Just a quick question, I've just booked some flights for a colleague on the Lufthansa web site and noticed that in the frequent flyer scheme drop down menu, BMI Diamond Club is listed. Surely this doesn't actually work does it? I normally credit my own flights to M and M, so have never noticed this. I assume that the only way of earning Diamond Club miles is via the credit card, and this is just a case of Lufthansa not tidying up their website?
(Did a search, but didn't find anything relevant).

They also still allow you to select Continental Onepass, Mexicana Frecuenta (despite Mexicana having left *A in 2004, and gone to the great airline alliance in the sky (so to speak!) in 2010), and Spanair Plus (also now with Mexicana in that great airline junkyard in the sky).

Ah, hadn't noticed the others! Just that BMI grabbed my attention and I thought surely not (and if it had been something that worked, I'm sure I would have read about it on here before now).

My thoughts exactly!!!

Obviously, the page was created sometime after Ansett collapsed (2002) and before Mexicana defected (2004). In the meantime, it has only been updated to add new *A members, and hasn't always been correctly updated to prune out the casualties along the way!!!
