All together now - Aaah! ;)

BA tend to batch card production so it could take a while.

thanks for the sympathy but it's Diamond Club silver I have been downgraded to. I still have my BA gold thank goodness. Just seemed a completely daft thing to do since as far as I know a DC card of any colour is no use to man nor beast!

How can you be downgraded by a FF program that no longer exists?

It has been happening to a lot of us over the last few months. Apparently something to do with not taking the required number of bmi flights to acquire the necessary status points! ;)

Goodness me, how could that be - when they ceased flying some months ago.

Fear not, although your BA Gold is secure, you might yet win the prize for the latest issued bmi "renewal pack" :D

.... This is the bmi FF program, you know ;)

I can't see any reason why it can't happen. Just like they are still issuing renewal packs.

.... Just that there is not much point in it happening.

It still exists, you just need to be a UK resident to be a member.

It has only one method of earning (MBNA) and one method of redeeming (transfer to BA) but it's still better than M&M :)
