Enforced schedule change - need hotel - who pays?

hi guys,

Compliments of the Season to you all !!

Have some flights with Turkish and an enforced schedule change now means we are 'stuck' overnight in IST.

As we are travelling on an award in C does this entitle us to a hotel and, if so, who coughs up for it OR are we on our own?

thanks for any help

Gordie

if you accept the schedule change then you are on your own, else you can get a refund. The only exception would be if your schedule change is very close to depature (which is unlikely). Are there any other flights w/o the overnight stay? You can ask TK to switch your flights and BA can re-issue the tickets.

TK normally provide complimtary hotels at IST for transit passengers with a long/overnight stopover. You may not have to do much in this case

I had a forced overnight at Heathrow which bmi booked and paid for a hotel. BA paid for the transfers and said for me to mail on a claim for meals.
