bmi (mainline) in the air on 11 November

Sorry if this has sort of thing has been posted elsewhere but I couldn’t find it. A flight in bmi colours - A319 I think - flew out of Belfast City this afternoon. I thought I was seeing things. I assume BA are still using bmi planes that have not been repainted. I guessed they’d want to avoid this when bmi formally disappeared. Very pleasant sight though.

I saw one at LHR on Friday, so there are a few not yet transformed.

Still using them, and in the meantime any bmi ones will end up looking like this: in advance of all over paint.

If anyone watched the late-night panel discussion that aired on BBC News 24 a few weeks ago, Willie Walsh said he imagined all the bmi liveried planes would be gone by the end of October and then immediately corrected himself and said "... er, well certainly by the end of the year".

There's still 1 A319, 4 A320's & 4 1/2 A321's left to paint!

A few of which will be off to MAD during Nov/Dec for their reprinting.
