Lounge access on LHR-DME
 

In a couple of weeks my girlfriend and I are off to Moscow with bmi, using the flights I won in the #150ticketgiveaway.

It's also my first trip with BMI as silver - both the BD and BA varieties.
I know that BD S would let me only into the lounge (we're in Y), and not a guest - but BA S does allow one.

Would this mean we'd both be able to use the Great British Lounge? How about at DME?

I'm also not quite sure what number to put on my booking. I'd imagine the chances of an op-up are vanishingly unlikely in the first place, but would one shiny card* trump another in those stakes?

* or at least a number suggesting a shiny card - I've still not received my bmi silver.

BD S does allow a guest at Lhr if I recall.

Same for DME but you can only get a guest in to the transaero lounge and not the BA lounge as you are flying BD.

Tbh though they are both equally as average IMHO.

I did this route in economy a few weeks ago on BD and I got more miles crediting to ba because of the 100pc silver bonus.

BMI S allows a guest if you are travelling on BMI together. BTW, I am ex pat in Moscow, so you need hints tips, help not getting ripped off on tickets, let me know

Of course - I'd somehow managed to miss that on the BMI site. Not sure what I'd been worried about. And it was me who PM'ed you the other day for some Moscow tips, but thank you again for that! :)
