Best joining bonus for non-UK resident
I've just moved to mainland Europe and will be flying to and from the UK quite a bit. I'm already a member of the BAEC - but if I can get some DC bonus points before the schemes merge all the better.
Looking around the forum, it appears that by far the best way of joining is with an MBNA credit card - but as they are only open to UK residents I can't apply. I haven't seen offers open to non-UK residents. Anybody got any tips?

I don't think there are any .
Take a look through the old sticky to see if any of the info in there helps you. I find that stopping at Hiltons and using the credit card is a handy way to get an extra few 1000 miles each month. Maybe other things will work well for you.
Only other tip I'd have is that if you happen to have a corporate travel agency its worth asking them if they are have any current 'jump to Silver' deals from DC.
