Busy Tone at the ICC

Is there anyone else having trouble calling the ICC? I have been trying to call them for hours today, and every time I got a busy tone. I didn't even get to the usual welcome recording.

Thanks. I am currently outside of England, and using their +44 (0)1332 648768 (outside UK) number. It had been "busy" the whole day. Maybe only this number has problems.

I called.. and dreaded the wait. So I put it on speaker and went to make myself a cup of tea...

Before I even made it off my chair, the call was answered immediately !

Thank you, telephone angels !!

You need to remove the (0) from the number, eg call:

+441332648768

I just called half an hour ago, and got through immediately.

Thanks everyone!!! I finally got through and booked my final BMI award ticket ever. I think it had to be some network issues with my phone company.

I had the same problem sporadically during the day while calling the 01332 number, so you're not imagining things.

I also called from outside the UK. When I called last Saturday, I was just waiting on hold indefinitely and eventually gave up. Called yesterday and waiting for quite a while (15 minutes I'm guessing) before being answered, then made several bookings. Getting each booking confirmed took quite a while, during which I had some chance to chat with the agent. She said they're incredibly busy these days, and due to being so busy the computer processing time is also delayed. Anyways, she handled all my requests very professionally and I was thankful for being able to burn another good chunk of my remaining miles.

I imagine there will be many times until the end of DC where it will be difficult getting through, but seems if you just persist, you'll succeed in the end.
