I can't remember what it was I did, but it's still working fine for me. I keep Firefox on my laptop just for checking ANA. I always have to do a dummy ANA search first (and am always amazed how good availability is four days out on NRT-LHR) but then the "Use Star Alliance Member Airlines" button is always visible.
