Another 1000 mile bonus survey, 14 Dec 2011
Just got a 1000 mile survey asking about routes. I wasn't sure if the question about whether I flew to 'Europe (Dublin, ...)' meant do I fly to Europe (with some examples in case I wasn't sure where that wad) or do I fly to those cities.
Did anyone else struggle with that? Not sure what use the results will be if we all interpret it differently.

Not sure I should admit to this, but someone in my family account got one today as well as one last month. Probably not enough to make any real difference in my final redemption, but nice nonetheless...

Had so many of these in the last year I'm getting paranoid they are trying to catch me out with my answers. I guess it's an easy 1000 miles, and yes this one appeared exactly the same as the one 2 weeks ago.

What's the least amount of actual bmi activity that has triggered a survey?
I've got an mbna credit card with a few miles trickling in each month.
I made a bmi baby return trip EMA-MLA-EMA in April.
I redeemed miles for four people MUC-MLA one-way in August.
My last flight on bmi metal was 4 years ago LHR-DME (C-class all on miles)
My first paid BD flight was (LAX on US)-MAD-LHR 7 years ago just before US joined *, and I didn't even earn miles on that leg!
My second/third (and last) paid flights were LHR-MME-LHR 5 years ago.
I guess I'm using diamond club/bmi more like a bank than an airline. I make regular deposits, with withdrawals a few times each year, but hardly ever buy a product or service from them. I even introduced my parents to diamond club when they did a RTW (none of the flights were on BD metal).
Am I a drain on diamond club? Should I be banned? Are they actually making money on me? Should I be forced to actually take a paid flight? Is there any chance that I will ever receive a survey?
Thoughts, suggestions....
