Book it all on the one ticket with BA; it'll book onto the Aer Lingus codeshares between LHR-DUB, so you'll be protected if you misconnect.

It's a 50-60 minute flight. Just pick the schedule and price that suits you whether that's EI both ways, BD both ways or EI one way and BD the other.
